I'm preparing hardcopy versions of my books for Kindle Direct Publishing. Although they have been available on Amazon, Lulu has been the POD company & distributor.
When finished they will be printed by KDP & sold on the Amazon storefront globally.
A lot time has already been wasted undoing the sabotage to the files & navigating other multilevel impediments. Factoring in the sabotage & obstacles, the books should be ready by mid February 2024.
They are still available for sale internationally on the Lulu storefront, where they will remain even after the transition to KDP.
Lulu was the global distributor, sending the books to other retailers, including Amazon. Now Lulu functions as a POD retailer that sells hardcopies on its storefront.
Even though Amazon will handle international distribution, that is only to other Amazon stores.
Until I select a global distributor, no retailers other than these two will be selling hardcopies of the books (except for ones in circulation).
Although it may take a while, I will coordinate with a global distributor, so the physical books will be available in other retail stores internationally.
